I currently live in Palo Alto, CA with my husband, two children and our (semi) feral cat. I am originally from Michigan and have lived in several different places in the US and for a very brief time in Hong Kong. I prefer to cook meals from scratch when time allows and I use organic ingredients when feasible. My cooking is not usually original, but I often tweak recipes from popular sites and magazines to suit them to my family’s liking and to make them more nutritious and healthy. I enjoy cooking (of course), gardening (I really need to improve on this one!), skiing, biking, tennis, reading, traveling and wine.
